JERUSALEM: Israeli occupation forces yesterday demolished two Palestinian homes and confiscated solar panels in Al-Halawa neighborhood in the south of West Bank city of Hebron (Al-Khalil), Quds Press reported.

The Coordinator of the Anti-Settlement and Wall Committee Ratib Al-Jabour told the news site that the Israeli occupation’s bulldozers demolished two small homes in the neighborhood.

He added that occupation forces confiscated solar panels used to supply the two homes with electricity.

The homes, Al-Jabour said, belong to Palestinians Khalil Younis Arram and his cousin Ahmad Ismail Arram. Both were demolished under claims of having been built without the impossible to obtain building permits.

The area the homes are located in is surrounded by settlements and has come under increased settler attacks, with occupation forces also confiscating any new equipment which is donated to residents including mobile homes funded by the EU.

Prior to the demolition, occupation forces closed the roads leading to the area.

Illegal occupier israeli forces arrested the mother and two sisters of the 23-year-old Palestinian gunman who killed two Israeli's in the Barkan industrial zone in occupied West Bank Tuesday, local residents said.

An Israeli military force raided Shawbka neighborhood in the city of Tulkarem and detained Wafaa Naalwa, 45, and her two daughters at their home, the residents said.

"Israeli soldiers searched Naalwa's family and questioned her family members before withdrawing from the area," one of the residents said.

There was no comment from the Israeli military on the arrests.

On Monday, Israeli forces briefly arrested the sister of the suspected shooter in the West Bank city of Nablus for questioning.

On Sunday, two Israelis were killed and another was injured in a shooting attack in an industrial area near the settlement of Barkan in the central West Bank.

The shooter had fled the scene unscathed.

Israeli media said the attacker was a former Palestinian worker from Tulkarem.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces rounded up seven Palestinians in overnight raids across the West Bank.

The individuals were arrested for "suspected involvement in popular terrorist activities," the army said in a statement, without elaborating on the nature of these activities.

The Israeli army frequently carries out wide-ranging arrest campaigns across the occupied West Bank on the pretext of searching for "wanted" Palestinians.

According to Palestinian figures, some 6,500 Palestinians continue to languish in Israeli detention facilities, including scores of women and hundreds of minors.

The Israeli military says forces are in pursuit of a Palestinian assailant who shot and killed two Israelis at a West Bank factory.

The military says troops are in the attacker’s hometown of Shweika, in the northern West Bank, on Tuesday. The military has named the suspect as Ashraf Na’alwa.

Several Palestinians have been arrested for questioning.

Sunday’s attack took place in the Barkan industrial zone, near the large Israeli settlement of Ariel, where thousands of Israelis and Palestinians work side by side.

The attacker killed 28-year-old Kim Yehezkel, a mother of an infant son, and Ziv Hajbi, a 35-year-old father of three, before fleeing, according to the Associated press.

Barkan has been touted as a rare example of Israeli-Palestinians coexistence. An Israeli woman also shot in the attack says a Palestinian treated her wounds.

Since last March, at least 191 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire, the majority during border protests.

Smaller numbers have been hit by airstrikes or tank fire, according to AFP.

The protests are demanding the right of Palestinian refugees to be allowed to return to their homes, now in Israel.

Israel says any such mass return would mean the end of it as a Jewish state and accuses Hamas who controls Gaza, of orchestrating the protests.

Occupied Jerusalem: Israeli illegal regime’s security forces raided the village of a Palestinian suspected of shooting two Israelis dead, the army said on Monday, making arrests while the assailant himself remained at large.

Ashraf Naalwa, 23, from the northern West Bank village of Shuweika, has been named by the Israeli occupation army as the Palestinian behind Sunday’s attack in the occupied West Bank industrial area of Barkan where two Israelis were killed and a third wounded.

Regime soldiers, as well as police and Shin Bet internal security officers “operated in the village of Shuweika, north of Tulkarem,” the military said.

It said security forces “arrested” an unspecified number of people suspected of aiding the attacker while a manhunt for the gunman was still underway.

A spokesman for the Shin Bet said they had arrested Naalwa’s brother, while his sister was “detained, questioned and released”, declining to provide further details.

Naalwa was employed at the same plant in the northern West Bank site as his two victims - Kim Levengrond Yehezkel, 28, and Ziv Hagbi, 34.

The industrial zone is located next to the Israeli colony of Barkan and near the colony of Ariel in the north of the West Bank.

Palestinians work side by side with Israelis in the industrial zone.

A third woman also shot in the attack was hospitalized in stable condition.

Levengrond Yehezkel, who was buried late Sunday, had been bound to a chair by Naalwa with cable ties before being shot, according to her father.

Naalwa used a homemade gun, known locally as a “Carlo”, according to the occupation army, in what security forces believe was a “lone-wolf attack,” meaning he was not part of any organization or acting on its behalf.

A wave of Palestinian protests against Israelis broke out in 2015, but they have since become sporadic.

Today 28th Anniversary of the Marks Al-Aqsa Massacre

Today 28th Anniversary of the Marks Al-Aqsa Massacre

Al Aqsa Shareef Mosque
Today, marks the 28th anniversary of the massacre of the first Al Aqsa Mosque, which was committed by the Israeli occupation forces.

On Monday, October 8, 1990, before the noon prayers, the settlers of the so-called “Temple Mount and Eretz Yisrael Faithful Movement” tried to lay the foundation stone for the alleged Third Temple in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Israeli occupation forces opened fire indiscriminately at worshipers in the mosque, killing 22 people, injuring more than 200, arresting 270 others while obstructing the movement of ambulances.

Prior to the massacre, IOF imposed military checkpoints on all roads leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque to prevent them from reaching the site. However, the worshipers gathered in the mosque hours earlier, in response to calls from inside the mosque.

Israeli occupation soldiers remained in the squares and prevented the evacuation of the bodies of the martyrs and the wounded, only six hours after the massacre began.

The occupation authorities had distributed a statement, a few days before the massacre, in which Jews were invited to participate in a march to the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the occasion of the “Throne Day.” This was followed by a statement by extremist Gershon Salmon’s calls that “The Jews must renew their deep relations with the Holy Land.”

The Jews closed the Mughrabi Gate after the massacre, claiming that the entry of Muslims was a threat to their lives.
